I'm Leon Rosen.
In 2018, filmmaker Japhy Riddle and I created a lasting work of art, "Grieving Friend of a Superman." I have begun production on a follow up film. I am seeking your help to fund it, to power a campaign and to complete my first full album.

The Film Budget
The film budget is $27,000. I was on a good installment plan but due to Covid complications, I defaulted on our contract last month. I am seeking urgent fundraising for this film. My album budget is 12k. If I cut corners, I can get it done for half that. This campaign is primarily to raise the 27k I need for the film
Incredible Momentum in 2020
In 2020, I used that music video to power a series of 15-second ad spots that grew my following from virtually nothing to something transformative. Despite the pandemic, I had a breakout year:
In 2020 I went from 100 follows to 12,000 follows
I went from 44,000 streams last year to 386,000 streams in 2020.
What I have learned:
•My music and film style is viable now and an audience is excited
•Creating high quality work backed up by ads is the goal
•Momentum in the music business is RARE, and I have it
•The time to act is now. Not in two months, not in a year.

In 2018 we raised funds to do a live-action music video, but Tori was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had to have immediate surgery, incapacitating her for several years of slow recovery. After her recovery, Victoria is striking out to a new place in her creative life: her own visionary work, telling her stories with her own company, Optic Monster
Victoria and her team will direct Wyld Canopies.
I created the score for Tori's student film, WINDOW
We have been creative comrades ever since.

My Request to you
Help me rule the art pop world with an iron fist! Join me in the creation of a music cinematic odyssey... This is a set of songs I wrote to survive hard times. It will sooth you, it will be a lot cheaper than therapy, and it will inspire you. Please help me raise the budget to create it.
I have struggled with the ethics of running a campaign for an art budget during a pandemic. I have chosen to act. We can not live on bread alone. Art and bread support us through crises. Music transcends all boundaries. We need it.
I do not make my living from my streams on Spotify. I make my living sharing what I know about piano with kids. I am okay.
