As many of you know, our beloved friend, Johnny Johnson aka "The Godfather" was diagnosed with liver cancer in late October, 2015.  Johnny’s surgery to remove the cancer, which consequently took 75% of his liver, was performed on December 14, 2015.  His loving wife Jayne and his entire family have been by Johnny's side throughout this long ordeal, as well as Tony, our dutiful Pavilion family representative.  The surgery to remove the cancer went well and his liver has continued to regenerate, but again, as many of you know, there have been many complications. He recently developed a staph infection and pneumonia that he continues to fight. His struggles are real and continue to be very exhausting for him and his family.


Through the years we have all marveled at the character that makes up Johnny Johnson. He is a remarkable human being that shows boundless love for Jayne, his children, grandchildren and friends. To know him is to know his love.


So, my friends, let’s honor that character. Let’s mirror the willingness that Johnny has always shown in his support of all of us by donating what we can to the GoFundMe account started in his name. We all want so desperately to do something to help our friend, Johnny. Let’s take this opportunity to do just that and take some of the financial burden incurred in this process off of him and his family.
