Support Serenity's Journey to Recovery

Serenity is a Senior this year. Graduation and prom are right around the corner. Never did we expect to see our girl in the situation she has endured this past week.

Serenity has had an infection spread to her brain. They had to perform a couple of brain surgeries to remedy the infection. We were told we were not out of the woods yet on Sunday night. The situation seemed the same or even slightly more concerning on Monday morning when they couldn't get a reaction out of her right side.

However, our girl is as strong as they come & she pushed through. By Monday evening she could make a thumbs up with her right hand. She could answer yes and no by shaking her head.

We were told she did have one seizure during the process. Her speech is slowed as she is processing and responding but she is doing an incredible job at it.

Serenity is going to need lots of physical therapy and TONS of love and patience from all of us that adore her so much. She has come a very far way in a very short amount of time. We are so proud of her and are so excited to see her progress in recovery.

Would love to give Serenity and her mother a little help in catching up on missed work, bills, gas to and from the hospital, etc. As well as right before prom and graduation!
