Hello Everybody,

We the Anderson’s - Rikk, Donna, and Cylas - and we really need help.

About 12 years ago, already nearing retirement age, we adopted our grandson, Cylas. Cylas, now 13, has grown in to a wonderful young man who is incredibly creative and kind. At our age, the challenge of overcoming new hurdles at each age, especially when raising a child with Autism, has not been easy. Along the way, Cylas's chronic seizures, alongside the diagnosis and treatment of several other conditions, all requiring an incredible amount of care and attention, continued to test our family, both emotionally and financially. The death of Cylas’s birth mother, our daughter, several years ago, brought us to our knees. Now with the seemingly endless rigors of declining senior health, which has left us physically unable to work more than part-time, the weight has truly become crippling - in every sense of the term.

Several months ago we came to the unfortunate and terrifying realization that we would have to sell our home to survive; a home Rikk has lived in since it was built. We found a home, we had a plan, and it all fell apart in our hands. The process went terribly wrong at every corner, and at this point we aren’t sure how we will keep a roof over our heads without your help.

Please help. Please. Anything you can - we are desperate.
