Hi, my name is Shirley, and I’m writing this with a broken heart, praying for a miracle.
Our sweet puppy is only 1 year old. Just days ago, she was playful, loving, and full of life. Now, she is lying in an emergency hospital fighting for every breath.
She suddenly became weak, stopped eating, and barely moved. When she started drooling and breathing heavily, we rushed her to the emergency vet. Her temperature was 104.5°F, and doctors discovered fluid filling her abdomen. When they removed it, it was cloudy yellow, a sign of a severe, life-threatening infection.
The diagnosis is sepsis — an overwhelming infection attacking her tiny body. The vets told us that without immediate emergency surgery, she will not survive. Even with surgery, the outcome is uncertain — but it is her only chance.
The cost of surgery, intensive care, hospitalization, medications, and 24/7 monitoring is nearly $15,000. We were not prepared for a decision between finances and our puppy’s life, and we are devastated to be in this position.
She is not “just a dog.” She is family. She greets us with love, follows us everywhere, and trusts us completely. Watching her lie there helpless, knowing she’s scared and in pain, has been the most heartbreaking experience of our lives.
We are humbly asking for help to give her the chance she deserves. Every dollar raised will go directly toward her emergency medical care. Even $5, a share, or a kind message means more than words can express.
Please help us save our baby. We don’t want her story to end like this — not when she’s so young and has so much life left to live.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading, caring, and helping us fight for her life.
With love and gratitude,
Shirley
