Hello, my name is Sienna, I'm 15 and I am hoping to attend World Youth Day January 2019. I hope with this page, money from busking, working and some help from my parents, to raise enough funds to journey to Panama. There I would like to write the next chapter of my faith journey...and discover more about how I can help make the world a better place.
World Youth Day is the coming together of youth from all over the world, building an international community of young people. It is an opportunity to explore our faith with people of different backgrounds and cultures, creating connections, understanding and unity as our generation steps forward and begins to shape the future.
Before the World Youth Day week in Panama commences, we will participate in a pilgrimage through Peru. Here we will partake in volunteer building projects for families and communities who are in need of our help. Through this work, we will have the opportunity to strengthen our faith while helping those in need.
Your support goes a long way in helping me participate in this rare and exciting opportunity.
Donations are greatly appreciated, and anyone who donates $50 or more, up until July 28th, will be entered in a draw to win a spot on a 6 day yoga retreat in Bali, Indonesia from October 28 to November 3 2018, valued at $1995. This prize includes 6 nights luxury accommodation, meals, airport transfers (once in Bali), daily yoga sessions and meditation, Balinese massage and cultural visits and experiences.
