Eagle Scout Project for Los Gatos
Greetings fellow bicyclists,
My name is Wyatt Wiens, and I am a Boy Scout with Troop 339. I am raising money to fund my Eagle Scout project. For my Eagle Scout project, I will be installing two Dero Fixit public bike repair stations for the Town of Los Gatos, California. One station will be on the Los Gatos Creek Trail just next to Ballzer Field, and the other station will be on the Jones Road Trail entrance to The Novitiate Park. These stations will provide a stand to place a bike on while fixing it, as well as tools and an air pump to assist in doing so.
I have already raised $2,000 for this project, but I need to raise an additional $1,000 in order to be able complete this project. All extra money raised will be donated to the Town of Los Gatos Parks and Public Works Commission for maintenance of these stations and for future public projects. Thank you!
