Late Wednesday afternoon, our family’s world changed in an instant when doctors discovered a mass on Wyatt’s brain. He was immediately rushed from Doctors Hospital to The Children’s Medical Center Wednesday night, where doctors are preparing for an MRI to determine the size of the mass and what the next steps will be. Surgery is imminent, and doctors will also perform biopsy testing to determine whether the mass is malignant.

Since receiving this devastating news, Wyatt’s parents and family — William, Haley, Kayla, and Jeff — have been taking turns staying at the hospital around the clock to make sure Wyatt is never alone during this incredibly difficult time. Along with the emotional toll this has taken, both sides of the family are also balancing care for their other children while trying to manage the unexpected financial burden that comes with medical emergencies, travel, meals, missed work, and ongoing expenses.

Right now, there are still many unknowns, and the road ahead is uncertain. We are asking for prayers, support, and any financial help possible as Wyatt and his family face the days ahead together. No amount is too small, and every share, prayer, and donation means more than words can express.
