Dearest Family and Friends,

My name is Rachel and I am a dear friend to the Devora-Jaramillo Family who's son "Wyatt" was born with a Congenital Heart Defect (CHD)

Last May, Wyatt underwent his fist open heart surgery. A Pulmonary artery banding (PAB) was inserted to help reduce pulmonary artery pressure. This was a temporary solution that would allow Wyatt time to grow; so that the doctors could observe the development of his right ventricle and get a better view of his heart in order for the surgeon to develop the proper surgical plan; before surgery #2.

Wyatt’s second open heart surgery is scheduled for June 30, 2023 at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas.

Along with being a friend, I am also Mother to a son who was born with a Congenital Heart Defect (CHD) and have walked a similar journey with our precious son. I know all to well the many emotions parents and families feel leading up to their child’s open heart surgery, along with the financial stresses that stick in the back of your mind due to the need for extended hospital stays, extended time away from jobs without pay to care for our babies and medical expenses you didn’t see coming your way.

I truly believe God places all the right people in our paths, so from one mother to another, my hope is that together; we can help provide some financial relief to this beautiful family by donating through this gofundme account I have created. Your donations will go towards offsetting at least some of the financial burdens, so that Wyatt’s parents can focus on Wyatt’s heart surgery, their son’s healing time and getting their son back home and healthy, as soon as possible.
