Rally for Wyatt Pace (Amy's son)
Amy Pace has been part of the Mountain Heights team since 2010. She is a stellar and beloved teacher who gives 100% to her students and to the greater STEM community across the state.
A few days after Mothers Day, her youngest son, Wyatt, was diagnosed with leukemia after several weeks of leg pain and lethargy. The good news is that it is treatable. The bad news is that it will take several years of intensive chemotherapy at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City. For the next year, Amy and Wyatt will be driving to Salt Lake every Monday for treatment.
Amy's family lives three and a half hours (220 miles) away in Wayne County so the travel expenses coupled with the major medical expenses, are an incredible burden.
Wyatt completed his first round of chemo May 15-18 and is looking forward to running and jumping like the playful little boy he is used to being again.
Please help us offset medical bills and travel expenses for the Pace family as they take care of Wyatt's needs. We know how much the Trailblazer community cares about each other and is willing to rally for Mrs. Pace and her little Wyatt.
