Wyatt Koch and Family

Hi, my name is Brooke Helterbrant and I’m starting a fundraiser for my oldest sister Mariah Koch and her son Wyatt as they go through the journey of getting a heart transplant.

Wyatt was born with HLHS and has gone through many heart surgeries in his life but he’s now at a point where they are in need of a new heart. This is a very scary and stressful time. This involves staying at the hospital/Ronald McDonald house for about a year, being separated from his brothers and trading off parents, and endless amounts of worry for the whole family.

Wyatt is a wonderful child with so much energy. He loves Disney villains and Ben 10, classic monsters and of course Pokémon. He hates being in the hospital so this is a hard pill to swallow that he’s stuck in there for so long.

Please if you can, donate to help pay for the medical costs that have accumulated over the years and alleviate some of the stress that has also accumulated. Right now the family is in the middle of moving from Columbus to Wilmington to be closer to family, while Wyatt is in the hospital in Cincinnati . They’re also down to one car in the most of this all. They’re not the type of people to reach out for help so I figured I would try to raise as much as I can to help them out.
