Updated: Out of first surgery and all wrapped up! Hi, my name is Khaylie Holeton and a lot of people have reached out wanting to help my Little brother Wyatt Holeton. On 3/5/24, Wyatt Holeton was riding his 4-wheeler when he unfortunately crashed into a field. This caused the handlebar to hit his right cheekbone, resulting in extensive facial trauma and fractures. Wyatt was trauma alerted to the local hospital via ambulance, and was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center shortly after. Wyatt then underwent surgery to reconstruct the right side of his face. This procedure warranted the placement of two metal plates, responsible for holding his fractured facial bones together. In all, Wyatt required three ambulance rides, an airplane ride, multiple surgeries, an MRI, CT scan, X-rays, antibiotics, medication to help stop his face from bleeding, and pain medication. Wyatt is now recovering at Harborview with his family by his side. Wyatt will be reassessed and informed shortly regarding the next steps for treatment, as well as a long-term plan moving forward for his care. Wyatt has a road to recovery ahead of him that will include surgeries, follow-up doctor visits to Seattle, medications, and more. We are asking for support to help pay for current and future medical expenses, lost wages, hotel bills, fuel, etc. Any contribution in the form of prayers, donations, or sharing of this GoFundMe is extremely appreciated during this difficult time.
