I'm Jessie Robinson, Wyatt’s godmother. Wyatt was a brilliant and exceptional child that I had the absolute privilege of knowing for the last eight years. I loved him all of his life, I only wish I could have loved him here on Earth longer. I have created this GoFundMe page to assist the Triplett family during this difficult time and to honor Wyatt’s legacy.
Wyatt Alexander Triplett battled an aggressive, high-grade glioma for 15 months. Due to the location of his tumor, surgery to remove the tumor was not an option, so he underwent radiation and chemotherapy alongside three brain surgeries. On the morning of September 23, 2024, at the age of eight, Wyatt died with his family by his side.
As the eldest of four children, Wyatt always tried to make those around him feel better, even when he was fighting an unrelenting cancer and enduring an aggressive treatment plan. He loved bringing joy to others by giving presents, telling jokes, or creating imaginative stories. If Wyatt was at a playground, every child would be included as he had a remarkable gift of creating instant friends. Everyone who encountered Wyatt would testify to his pure soul and positive energy.
Wyatt’s spirit of bringing smiles to others and selfless nature was the inspiration to create a foundation that would help other children and families who receive the tragic high-grade brain tumor diagnosis, which currently is delivered alongside a grim prognosis.
Please join our initiative to honor Wyatt and the exceptionally courageous and kind child that he was by supporting the creation of the Wyatt A. Triplett Foundation for Pediatric Brain Tumors to fund research attempting to find a cure for pediatric high-grade brain tumors. We strive for a future where children with Wyatt's or a similar diagnosis will have a greater chance of battling and winning.
This GoFundMe is created with the intention of raising funds on behalf of the family to fund the creation of the Wyatt A. Triplett Foundation for Pediatric Brain Tumors and also assist with covering funeral expenses.
