Preemie Baby

Hi, I'm Linda, one of Scharonne Jones's best friends. Her daughter, Madison, had to have an emergency c-section at 29 weeks of pregnancy due to a severe case of preeclampsia. The baby, Isla, was born on 9/4/23 and weighed 2 lbs. 2 oz. She will have several months in the NICU. The hospital staff is working to get Madison back to a healthy situation as well.

Scharonne has been a teacher at Capri Elementary in the Encinitas School District for about 30 years. She's taught and helped so many of our local kids. She now needs our help. She will need to be flying frequently to Washington state over the next several months where her daughter and granddaughter are hospitalized. This fundraiser is to help relieve some of the financial burden she will bear flying to Washington every weekend to help her family. Anything you can donate will be of great help to her in this time of crisis.
