The Emergency Volunteer Project, established in 2009 is staffed by Firefighters from all over the United States. The West Coast Division (of which I am a team member) has Firefighters from Los Angeles City Fire Department, Oxnard Fire Department, San Francisco Fire Department and others. All of the members involved must pay for all of their own travel and training expenses, which as you can imagine is costly. This November, your West Coast Team is traveling to Israel to train directly with Israel's Firefighters. Your donation will go directly to your local firefighters to pay for their food, lodging and flight costs so that when needed, we can deploy to cover fire stations across Israel and handle all emergency calls for service. Your contribution is greatly appreciated by us, the EVP, and Israel.
