Dear friends and family,
It is with a heavy heart that I are writing this on behalf of our family.
For those of you who know Amie and I you know that it is not in our nature to share details of our personal life on social media. We are the kind of people who “play our cards close to the chest”. But sometimes life deals you a hand that is tough to handle by yourself.
In February 2015, we found out that we were to be blessed with the birth of our first beautiful daughter Myah. Right now Myahs temporary home ,for the foreseeable future is going to be children's hospital in Boston. Amie resides in New Bedford and is currently out of work and I currently work and live in Bridgewater, like any family we have logistical difficulties and challenges to overcome in order to make sure we are able to support our baby girl.
Shortly after we found out we were having our baby girl we found out baby Myahs path to her loving family was going to be much harder and different than her brothers, as she was diagnosed with Teicuspid Artesia . Since her birth, she has been hospitalized at children’s hospital in boston , where she has already undergone one attempt to avoid open heart surgery via catherization procedure, unfortunately this was not successful, she has been placed in a chemically enduced state of paralization and had been on a vent .At this point the remaining option for our baby girl is the first of a series of open heart surgeries. Like her parents Myah is a fighter.
Myah has a long battle in front of her and needs her mother and father’s strength and support. This is why we are using the power of social media to appeal to the goodness, compassion, and generosity of others. We have set up this page as a central place for friends and family to offer support at any level to help offset the exuberant cost of medical deductibles, as well as our travel expenses (gas, tolls, hotels, food etc.)
We will post regular updates on myahs progress along the way, and urge you all to share this among your own network and #helpmyah #CHD #BeatThis. Thank you in advance for your support and please keep Myah and our family in your prayers.
Thank you,
Eric, Amie, Jameson and Landon
