A few short weeks ago, our lives changed in an instant. My mother was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), an aggressive form of leukemia that has come as a complete shock to our entire family.
What started as severe back pain led us to Upstate University Hospital, where doctors ran extensive tests and gave us the diagnosis we never expected. We are incredibly grateful to the medical team for acting quickly and helping us begin this fight.
She will be starting chemotherapy as soon as possible, and we are staying hopeful and strong as she begins this difficult journey.
We are asking first and foremost for your prayers, support, and positive thoughts during this time. If you are able to donate, any amount—no matter how small—would mean so much to our family. The financial burden of treatment, travel, and time away from work is going to be overwhelming, and your generosity will help ease that stress so we can focus on what matters most: her healing.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, support, and prayers. ❤️
