Japan Summer Mission Trip

Hi, my name is Lorenzo and I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve on a month long mission to Misawa, Aomori, Japan! I would be serving with a local church, offering support for their Summer Vacation Bible school, as well as discipleship, and any need presented during my stay in Misawa.

I was an atheist the majority of my life, but was radically saved by Jesus Christ in 2019. I struggled with depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideations, but I now live to share the Gospel of Jesus' redemption through his sacrifice on the cross! Even before I met Jesus, I have always had a desire to go to Japan. I got so much more clarity when I encountered Jesus, as I wept over testimonies shared by people in Japan facing similar struggles.

Through years of prayer, asking the Lord to open a door to serve in Japan, He has graciously presented this opportunity to go learn more about Japanese culture, as well as serve the local community there. I have served on several trips in the United States, as well as Mexico, but this would be the first trip outside of North America.

In speaking with the pastor of the church in Misawa, they helped me with a budget for the month long stay. The $5200 would cover

Airfare, 1 month's accommodations for lodging, Groceries, 1 month car rental as Misawa is rural, Gas, and Health insurance.

I, with the help of the pastor, am managing the budget. The major expense that was recommended to cover as soon as possible was the airfare to avoid price increases as the Summer approaches. Everything else (Lodging, rental, etc.) would be paid on arrival in mid June.

While I know the budget is high, I am depending on the Lord's provision and the generosity of others! Would you please consider contributing financially to my mission trip?
