On December 6, Stephanie was involved in a devastating motor vehicle accident involving an eighteen-wheeler. Due to the severity of her injuries, she was airlifted by helicopter to Methodist Hospital, where she is currently in the ICU fighting for her life.

Stephanie has already endured multiple complex surgeries and remains critically ill. Her injuries include significant trauma to both legs, chest injuries requiring surgical repair, and a brain injury with a subdural bleed and a small stroke. Doctors continue to monitor her neurological status closely while also addressing her respiratory and orthopedic injuries. She has more surgeries ahead and faces a long, uncertain road to recovery.

While Stephanie focuses on healing, her family is facing an overwhelming and growing burden of medical expenses—including emergency transport, surgeries, ICU care, and ongoing treatment.
