My name is Kristy Choate. I have had the previledge of working with Darlene for over 5 years.

Saturday, November 14, 2015, her apartment burned to the ground. The family is safe but they got out with nothing. No clothes, no baby pictures, no shoes. Nothing.

All money raised will go directly to Darlene and her family to help them rebuild their lives.

Darlene is a vital part of our extended family. She's helped so many of us over the years and tires selflessly as a teacher by day. To lose everything you have is bad enough but this time of the year makes it even harder on a family.

Please help us raise money to give back to someone who has done so much for the ME program as a mentor and friend.  I cannot imagine how devistating this is for her and her family. She's asked for nothing and doesn't know I've started this page. I just can't sit by in my comfy home  and do nothing knowing right now she has no where to go and nothing to take with her.
