Farzana Chowdhury

‎إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ,

My dear aunt, Farzana, has passed away unfortunately. Those of you who know her, will know how beautiful she was, inside and outside, May Allah bless her. She cared for everyone around her, she did charity work, she supported her family, prayed her 5 prayers, continuously sought knowledge of Islam and so much more. She was a role model for me, in many ways; she was one of the few closest people to me in my life. Although things will never be the same for myself and our family, Allah is the Best of Planners, He is the All-hearing, All-Seeing and All-knowing, therefore I am certain Farzana is in heaven, May Allah grant her Jannatul Firdaus and her family ease and patience.

Moving forward, all we can do now is make Dua and do Sadaqah Jariyah for her, this can be in any form, such as donations, reading Quran, doing Tasbih, etc. In this instance, I would like for all of us, her family and friends to help me raise money to build a water well in Africa, in sha Allah. Please try to donate as much as you can, even if it is as little as a £1. The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: “The believer’s shade on the Day of resurrection will be his charity.” (Tirmidhi (604)).
