On Jaunuary 1st, I suffered what for me is a catastrophic injury. A man stepped on my foot on the dance floor crushing the tendon in the top of my foot that holds most of the bones together. If I didn't have this injury repaired now, the doctor told me, I might lose the ability to walk later in life.

This injury is catastrophic to me not because the damage to my foot can't be repaired, but because it hit me where it hurts most; I am unable to work for three months while the medical bills are pilling up. To top that off, my work has informed me I am responsible for my entire insurance premium, and at the same time I am not qualified for medical leave. Disability doesn't even cover all my most basic expeneses, so I could really use some help from my friends about now.

Any funds I collect from this campaign will go directly to my medical expenses and anything left over will supplement basic living expenses that state disability may not cover. Your help means a lot to me, as anyone who has spoken to me any time in the last few years knows I was only barely scrapping by as it was- without your help, I will never even be able to make a dent in this medical debt. I will be enternally grateful for any and all help I recieve at this time which has quickly become one of the bleakest New Years I have ever experienced.
