I have personal experience of losing close friends and family members to ovarian cancer. I lost a friend who I first met when our children were toddlers. Then our family lost a much loved sister, sister -in-law, mum, aunty , substitute gran , cancer buddy after a long and tough battle with ovarian cancer. And we hear more and more of women dying from this cancer. So let’s pull together and understand this cancer now and find a way to stop it creeping into our lives and wreaking havoc, silently , sneakily, uninvited and ultimately destroying families.

So I am going to walk 100 km through March sometimes with our dog (she will no doubt do more than 100km) and sometimes without her!
