Hi, my name is Andrea and I, along with my three sisters and father, are raising funds for our mother’s funeral. Four weeks ago my mom wasn't feeling well and went to the hospital. After weeks of lab tests, medical procedures, and a biopsy, the results came back positive for a hyper-aggressive lung cancer. Our mom, whom we saw as invincible, was told she only had a few weeks left to live. The few weeks we thought we had with her were cut short. Cancer caused blood clots throughout her body and she suffered a fatal stroke. She was discharged from the hospital and brought home to pass away surrounded by our family and friends; it was her last wish and request.

My mom showed incredible strength, grace, and courage throughout her lifetime, especially during these last four weeks. She was a selfless, loving mother and grandmother, and that didn't change during the time she was ill. She continued to display her infinite love for us, holding our hand, cuddling into our chest, and holding her grandchildren close. We were everything to her and she was to us. We will always have the beautiful memories we shared with her in our hearts forever.
