#PrayForBruno battles #dravetsyndrome

At the age of 3 months, Bruno began having seizures. I took him to the doctor and after a series of tests, everything came back negative. His seizures continued , turning blue at times, many type of seizures and when he turned 6 months old, after a second opinion,  and many hospitalization stays, doctors diagnosed him with Dravet syndrome. Bruno suffers from Dravet Syndrome .Bruno Has been seizing since he 3 months old and it has caused lots of regression at his age! He requires full  time attention.


Dravet Syndrome is a very rare condition
to manage especially that Bruno fits all the descriptions described with Dravet
syndrome.   He is at a baby level in a 9 year
old body.  everything you do with a baby,      it's what I do with Bruno.  I must feed him,  change his diapers, guess when he's in pain n carry him everywhere I go .  He has no       sense of danger and on top of all this I must try to   control his seizures and triggers !

He’s very photo Sensitive and pattern                 sensitive and cannot be in the heat as these all triggers of more seizures 

He can never be left unattended as you         Never  know what patterns around him       will make him seize.  He can never be left     unattended As he is at risk of falls! His           condition is very delicate and fragile and      this has caused us to be well known in   the hospital ! While he sleeps he's had  seizures turning him blue requiring  oxygen and to   be suctioned ! His seizures have lasted anywhere over 10 min easily and with Dravet  syndrome , seizures  over 10 min are common.  My biggest  fear is to lose him during a seizure .


With this fundraiser I can get help to fix  his much needed wheelchair van,  pay for his meds not covered by insurance , pay for special equipment I need for him , and just  be able to care for him with his medical  needs.


as much as I love the fact I was able to           purchase a used wheelchair van, it’s been a hassle as it’s old, always breaks down, and it’s been giving me mechanical &. electrical problems .  I need to fix it or   buy a better   van that will last longer as   Bruno is  growing and getting heavier.  As a single mom        Solely relying on child support it's very        hard to do this.  I wish  I could work Full        time but with my son’s condition , it’s not possible .  I had to give  up my job and any     future plans I had , once my son was diagnosed with DRAVET SYNDROME.

I was blessed to get a small part time but     With  all my debts, one of the credit card      Companies is garnishing my wages on  my    Part time.  

I hate begging for donations but I need  my son to be safe ! I will never ask for   luxury     just comfort for safety.   We live in a small 2 bedroom 1 bath home  and with all his          equipments you can only imagine how cramped we can get.  

Any little  amount  I can get it's truly                appreciated.

Alot of you have donated and supported and I can't tell     you how thankful and blessed I am for all your support!  Pls,  any little   help I can  get, I truly appreciate it.  If I were to raise more than what I need I promise      you I will make this money go to where it's              needed too.  I know too many parents               needing support as well... 


I want the best for my son while he's with me and big sis in this world ! I want them to be happy with whatever I'm able to provide
