Ridge Rugby Field Improvement Drive

As Ridge Rugby heads into it's new season, we would greatly appreciate any support our family, friends and supporters can offer. Our field has been sorely neglected for the past several years, and having it aerated, seeded and fertilized will only happen with funds raised through the generosity of our supporters and friends. If we can raise enough, we also hope to purchase permanent metal goal posts and more substantial bleacher seating as well. We thank you for all your support!

Ridge Rugby (www.ridgerugby.org) is a Rugby Union Team for high school-age boys living in Bernards Township (Basking Ridge, Liberty Corner and Lyons). Ridge Rugby is a member of USA Rugby  and Rugby New Jersey, the New Jersey Youth Rugby sanctioning body.

Our official league season runs from early March to the beginning of June, with outdoor practices beginning as soon as the weather allows. Games are played on Sunday mornings, and we practice on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 3:30 pm until 5:30 pm. In the winter off-season, we hold Sunday afternoon practices at an indoor facility. For interested players, there are also Summer and Fall 7’s Rugby seasons that we can participate in.

We are completely self-funded, and have many capital and  first-season needs, such as goal posts, uniforms, and field rental fees.
