"Hello, I'm Eman Radwan, 37 years old, a mathematics teacher at a secondary school. I teach the final year, where students say goodbye to school and move on to university, choosing their majors and aspirations, starting a new practical life. My husband Ameen is a nurse who helps relieve people's pain. We have three beautiful daughters who always wished for a brother to grow up with and care for them. Thank God, we were blessed with a beautiful son amidst the ongoing war.

Oh, the war... It has turned our once beautiful, bright, calm, and safe life into a cruel, dark, and terrifying existence. It has stripped us of our sense of safety, displaced us from our homes, and plunged us from warmth, comfort, and tranquillity into coldness and homelessness. It has taken us from light to darkness, from satisfaction to hunger.
The war began brutally and intensely — destruction, bombings, and terror engulfing everything around us and the occupying army ordered us to leave our homes. It was a devastating shock for us. We left northern Gaza on October 14 and sought refuge in Deir al-Balah, where we stayed for several weeks. The situation felt dire; danger lurked everywhere, north and south.
Returning home later, I found that the destruction was unbearable ,and our house had become unsafe and unliveable.
Shortly after our return , as we were deciding where to go the Israeli army started a ground invasion and each day brought escalated danger, shelling, and terrifying sounds. They commanded us to evacuate southward through a safe corridor. We packed our essentials — documents, a few clothes, and food for the children. Aware of the long, arduous journey ahead, we piled into our car but the road soon became impassable, so we carried our belongings on foot for very long distance .
Imagine, in my sixth month of pregnancy, I carried my son and multiple bags to ease the burden on my young daughters. I will never forget amidst the sounds of gunfire, fear gripped us as we faced soldiers for the first time. We raised our IDs and hands high, clutching a white flag, praying for divine protection. We survived.
We sought refuge in Rafah, settling at Al-Quds Open University for several months. It was an immensely challenging period — over 30 of us cramped in a small hall, serving as our space for sitting, sleeping, cooking, and washing. Every basic necessity — clean water, bread, food, medicine — became a struggle. It was in this harsh environment that I gave birth to my son.

Rafah soon faced threats of invasion, prompting our third evacuation to Nuseirat refugee camp. Little we knew what was going to happen .When the Nuseirat massacre took place, we were starting to prepare lunch. It was the worst day I can remember. Shootings and bombings were all over the place. It sounded like the end of the world. I held my baby and urged my daughters to run for safety as quickly as possible. We didn't know what was happening, and not knowing was terrifying. My husband and I were trying to calm the children down, telling them that Allah was with us and we were not alone.
We survived, again, and we couldn't believe we did. We survived and we are still trying to survive with all our strengths.
Please help me my four young children and my husband to stay alive and healthy . Your donations will cover our daily expenses (formula milk and diapers for the baby, food, hygiene products, and medicine for a family of five) and repairing our home. No amount is too small
Stay with us until enduring Peace will find its way .
With gratitude
Eman and the family
