Hi there, I'm Marlo! I'm very excited to share that I am part of the awesome cast of Wagga Wagga Takes 2 2022.

 

I will be raising awareness and funds for Sisters Housing Enterprises ; an incredible and vital organisation within our community providing safe and secure housing and support for women and children who are disadvantaged, at-risk or homeless in a respectful environment.

Sisters Housing provides case management, support and crisis accommodation to women and children who are experiencing homelessness, or are at risk of homelessness.

Their team work with women who are leaving violence in all its forms, as well as women who are struggling with housing affordability, evictions, overcrowding or rough sleeping, with severe and persistent mental health issues, drug and alcohol abuse/misuse or are leaving institutional facilities. 

I am lucky (?) enough to be guided through the process by a mentor who will get me ready to belt out a big number on stage, and the mentor I have been given is… *DRUMROLL* …….. none other than my husband and Wagga Takes Two veteran Matt Olsen!

 

I have chosen to support Sisters Housing because I believe it is a fundamental human right to have access to a safe and secure home environment, and to care, compassion and empathetic support.
