Bang the Drums!

We are fundraising on behalf of the Wheaton Warrenville South High School Drumline. The drumline has been a great part of our school’s marching band for over 20 years, and we are concerned that we will be unable to continue this activity as our instruments are wearing out. We are writing to request your help as we are raising funds to purchase new drums. We are trying to raise enough money to purchase new drums, cases and harnesses that will be used for many years to come and will replace the drums we are currently using that are over 30 years old and have been beaten, literally, to death.

These drums will be a legacy left for future drumlines at WWSHS and will allow us to continue to provide service to the Wheaton and Warrenville communities at events including the Memorial Day and Independence Day parades and other community performances throughout the year. We are planning to purchase 5 bass drums, 5 snare drums, 3 tenor drums and the cases and harnesses that go with them. The quote we received for the drums is $13,500. Any amount you can donate is great and as a thank you we will send along a photo of our drumline with the new drums as a keepsake.
