Maddox Galdeano

We are looking to raise funds on behalf of my Uncle George and his son Maddox, who is 5 years old. Maddox has been in the hospital since February 9th, it was found that he had two calcified masses in his brain causing a bleeding lesion which led to a six-hour surgery on February 14th. Maddox had been asleep for 5 very long days, post-surgery. February 19th, Maddox finally woke up and began occupational, speech, and physical therapy to regain his cognitive skills.

This road to recovery lead to some challenges. Maddox started to have seizures due to fluid build in his brain. Since then, he has had 3 more brain surgeries to drain fluid, have a shunt placed and to have a catheter inserted in two lateral ventricles at the center of his brain. The whole process has been emotionally overwhelming for the Galdeano family. Maddox is a bright light and a blessing to our family. He's a jokester with his quick wit and silly stories and likes to come up with his silly dances. Since his surgery Maddox has been non-verbal and asleep majority of the time. Between the surgeries and radiology scans, occupational, speech and physical therapy, the medical bills are adding up quickly. We don’t know how long his hospital stay will be and would greatly appreciate any help you can give to lessen the financial burdens our family faces. These funds will be used to help pay for the rehabilitation and home care Maddox will need. Please keep Maddox in your prayers for complete healing and restoration of his body.
