Alex's journey

Alex is our precious daughter that has had a difficult journey in life and we have been very blessed to have always been able to be with her every step of the way. Most recently she has been hospitalized 41 out of the last 50 days and counting. Over the last 24 hours we have been informed she will need two surgeries. One to put a drain tube in her chest wall to drain fluid out. The second she will need a feeding tube. This news isn't easy to take and it adds significant time to our hospital stay. During this time Candice can't work and like most families with kids we depend on her pay as much as mine. We are trying to stay active in the other kids lives and be here for her and the expense is really starting to add up. I've never publicly asked for help and take pride in that. However Alex needs us to be able to be here as we are her voice. We are her lines of communication.

Unfortunately life doesn't stop, bills don't stop, so any help is appreciated.
