Please Help Me Pay For My Dog’s Surgery

Hi! We all know and love my little chihuahua Larry! Ever since he found me we have been inseparable. He is my best buddy and I love him endlessly, so I just want to do everything I can to ensure he’s okay. I took him into the vet to investigate what we thought was just a sore on his rear. He was having trouble leaving it alone, and is still able to reach it even while wearing a cone, so it hasn’t had the chance to heal. What ended up happening is the vet diagnosed him with a (hopefully benign) tumor that became ulcerated, it must be surgically removed.

With that being said, I ended up walking out paying a lot more than expected, spending money I don’t have. I will have to pay much more in the near future to get Larry the care he needs. The total costs include FNA cytology, blood work to ensure it is safe to put him under anesthesia, the anesthesia itself, removal of the tumor, tests/labs to ensure the tumor is indeed benign, as well as meds/whatever type of post-surgical care he will need. This will also include getting him neutered, as the vets believe having him neutered will help prevent this from happening to him again in the future.
