WWFD Fire Engineer Ryan Pleasants

The Walla Walla Fire Department and the Walla Walla Professional Fire Fighters are deeply saddened to announce the Line of Duty Death of Fire Engineer Ryan Pleasants who passed away this morning while on duty. (01/07/2024)

Ryan was a 20-year veteran of the Walla Walla Fire Department. He served the Walla Walla Valley as a firefighter/medic for the first 19 years of his career and was promoted to Engineer in July.

All money raised will go to his Wife and 2 children. You can also drop off or send money to Hot Mama’s Espresso located at 1447 W Pine street, Walla Walla Wa. 99362.

-Cash or checks can also be dropped off at Fire Station 1 at 200 S. 12th in Walla Walla.

Ryan will be forever missed by all his brothers and sisters of the WWFD. Our deepest condolences go out to his Family and his community.
