We, at the Humane Society of Tuolumne County, are fundraising to offset the unexpected veterinary costs for one of our newest feline friends, Buddy. Buddy is a sweet, sweet, twelve year old boy who has been struggling with chronic diarrhea and weight loss. He was recently seen by a local veterinarian and after thorough exams, blood-work, and fecal testing, Buddy was released with ongoing medications while they continue their efforts to officially diagnose him.

Our staff is very hopeful and pleased with Buddy's progress thus far, but are unable to fully fund Buddy's recent and unexpected medical expenses.

About Buddy...

Buddy and his sister, Baby, came into our care a month ago after having their world's turned upside-down. Their owner was taken into hospice care, and sadly, did not make it back home. Buddy and Baby were being kept in a shed while other local rescue groups looked for potential adopters. After hearing their story, we decided to give them a shot, and brought them into our facility. We have had such a wonderful time getting to know these two, and especially our boy, Buddy. He is incredibly affectionate and has stolen the hearts of our staff and volunteers. We want so badly to return him to good health and then find him a loving forever home.
