Help Benny with Large Living & Medical Expenses

Hi Everyone. Benny Diar was in a bad car accident 15+ years ago, where he broke his neck, leaving him a quadriplegic, paralyzing him from the shoulders down.

Benny's perseverance with his attitude and how he has continued painting with his mouth is a huge inspiration to us all.

We are raising money to help him with rising living costs and medical needs that have hit him hard lately. To name a few, he has recently had to get a new special mattress and bedframe costing over $4200, repairs to his wheelchair accessible van costing $3500+, replacement adaptive hardware for his laptop so he can use it with his head movement costing over $1200, and $300 to $500 a month for medications and medical supplies not covered by insurance. He is also in need of a generator and backup battery system costing $1800 to $2000. Plus, he has to move in about a month, adding thousands in expenses and includes needing an expensive wheelchair lift which we just learned will be between $6000 and $10,000. Adding all that to his already high cost of living, everything has hit him a lot harder than usual lately.
