For My Mom

Donation protected
To everyone who has not heard the news it is with a heavy heart that I share with you that my mom Christina R. O’Neal passed away Sunday June 24th, 2018 after a fatal car accident just a block from her home. What has happened is beyond comprehension, my family and I are still lost trying to understand why this happened to such a beautiful soul. My mom was loved by SO many, she had the heart of an angel, and was the most genuine person I have ever known. Everyone who came across her path was surely touched. I came home on my summer leave to spend some time with her, my son, dad, family and friends to now being in the position to plan her funeral and final resting place. This has been the roughest time of my life.

I wanted to take a second and thank everyone who has reached out to me in the last few days via all forms of communication to show your love, I am very grateful as is the rest of my mom’s family. Many people have left messages asking how they can help, the first and foremost way is to please pray for all our loved ones including my little 13-year-old brother Arturo for that peace that passes all understanding. Arturo needs a lot of love right now as does my brother Chancellor, the grandkids, nieces and nephews and all the loved ones that remain behind until we see Mom again in Heaven.

Secondly, I had no clue that the funeral process would be so expensive & so soon. This morning we visited several funeral homes around town trying to find the most cost effective, yet beautiful place to celebrate my mom’s life and allow her friends and loved ones to come say good bye as well. We did our very best to keep costs down however to cover a big part of the expenses we still need to raise upwards of $9,000 over the next 4 days.  If you could assist us I would be forever grateful to you, please click the donate button here on the GoFundMe site and leave a note with your favorite memory of mom.

God Bless….

Please keep your family close!
