My name is Dan Murphy and I have started this to help my sister Jenny Murphy Rickenbacker in her cancer fight. She has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer in both breasts and will need to have surgery along with radiation and will need two months or more of recovery. The funds being raised are for cost of living expenses that her job normally covers. While she is in treatment she will not be able to work, and she is looking at 2 months or longer for recovery. Her medical expenses are covered but she will need help with daily expenses such as food, gas, and other needs. She will be driving to her radiation appointments 5 days a week for a month, a total of 40 trips with each over 100 miles round trip, so a lot of what is raised will be spent on gas. The goal is to bring some peace of mind to Jenny so she can focus on healing. All funds will be directed to her bank.
