Getting My Daughter Home
Donation protected
My Name is Brittany, but everyone knows me as Squirrel and Ryuu...Fully RyuuDaSqurrel. A few months ago our mother-in-law came down and picked up our daughter, whom is 7 years old, for the summer for fun on the farm, and knew to have her back by 08/01. Not too long before, my mother-in-law decided to call in a false claim to Child Services on us...for what we thought was no reason (they came, saw that the claim was false, and the case is closed). 08/01 came and went...Turns out she's not planning on returning our child to us. The only way we'd be able to charge her for kidnapping is if we try to go down to get her and she denys us, but this means needing to travel 2 states over and this will eat into all our funding for rent, food, utilities, and more. So this is why I'm asking for any help possible. I'm going to work on getting her back, we just ask for assistance to help get through the month for our bills. I thank you all for any assistance you can possibly give to help us not only get my child back, but to help us survive the month as well.
The trip will involve driving my car from Ogden, UT. to Avon, SD. The gas alone is $148.87 one way, so we're looking at $297.74.
Food and drink expenses as well seeing it's 3 starting out (my husband, my 3 year old son, and myself), then 4 coming back. Getting there would take around 15 hrs so it would be $75 getting there, and $105 coming back, for bare min. on meals. Drinks wouldn't be as bad, what with water and coffee being the reg.
All in total there, not even counting a motel, it $477.74. The rest would be for any emergencies that can happen during something like this, like parts needed for the car, etc.
That would be coming out of our rent, which is $850
The water bill is $136
The electricity is $128
The gas is $65.
Car insurance is $102.
In total of basic we're looking at $1281.00 this month, but we'll only have $803.26 and even removing things like phone and internet won't dig us out.
EDIT: WE ARE NOW STRANDED! we are 300 miles away from home and the car has broken down! We need any and all help possible!
EDIT2: We were towed back to Rawlins, Wyoming, cost wwas only $27 even with insurance, and we've gotten a motel room for 2 days, $155 for both nights.
To have the car even looked at is $100 then repairs could vary between $250 to $1000.
The most cost-effective choice is a uhaul which would be $343 to rent and around $150 for the gas to fill it.
