WVU Rugby Spring Season

We are the Riders of the Night, West Virginia University's oldest and proudest club The Men’s Rugby team, and we are looking for your help with this upcoming season. Our team is proudly traveling further than we have in many years. Most notably to The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Washington DC, and our goal of playing in the National Championship May Madness in New Orleans.

Every player on the team has a true love for the game. This is shown by how hard we compete at practice, in matches, and paying money out of our own pockets to wear the sacred crest.

When most of our current players joined the team two years ago, we were winless. With the hard work and dedication shown by our current players we fought through missing a season due to Covid and made it to the Conference Semi-Finals last season.

We are hoping to receive a little financial backing from past players, family, and friends of the team. Anything you can give is greatly appreciated. We look forward to having an amazing season and growing the club to levels that it has not seen before.
