Cremation for my Father
Donation protected
My father, Ed, recently passed away....alone and by himself. He's still at the Medical Examiners office because there was no one to claim his body. I live in Texas and he passed away in my hometown of Lansing Michigan.
I've had a tremultous realtionship with him my entire life. I hadn't talked to him in about 20 years but last April I wrote him a 4 page letter. I told him that I've always loved him and I didn't want to wait until he was no longer here and have regrets that I hadn't at least attempted to make peace with him. He called me as soon as he got it and we talked for hours. He had the same voice he's always had and we slowly started to get to know each other again.
I got a call today, March 8 that he had passed away on the 28th of February and no one had claimed him. I don't have the money to give him a proper funeral and I would like to cremate him and be able to go home and retrieve him. But I need help. I don't want him to sit any longer than necessary, alone and unclaimed in the meidcal examiners office. Please help.
