Hi, my name is Lauren! I'm a doggy lover & I went to visit a friend & saw his dog Extremely malnourished, lethargic & she wouldn't eat. This big jumpy loveable baby was unrecognizeable.

i insisted she needs medical attention, her owner said she's not worth paying a vet bill. He said she's low priority & he won't pay to save a dog that's dying we can just put her to sleep..

if you know me at all, you know I'm that crazy dog lady who told this person go to hell, took this poor Babygirl & brought her to my vet. Come to find out, she needs a surgery for hip dysplasia. She's in pain, she can barely walk. She can't go down any steps without falling down them. She's fighting a kidney infection which is more than likely kidney failure she's suffering acute blindness, constipation, diarrhea, increased thirst, loss of appetite, depression, a little blood in stool & urine.

her initial bloodwork showed her kidneys were failing, 4 days later after being hospitalized her levels were within a hair of normal levels. Doc let her come home & I've kept a super close eye on her. Carry her downstairs 4x a day so she can get fresh air, potty & hopefully poop. I paid out of my own pocket for her vet visit of $1500. I've covered all her dietary & supplement needs since I practically kidnapped her!

those of you who know me well enough know my dad is also fighting stage 4 cancer & im helping him out with finances as well so I'm financially depleted ☹️ my point being, I need help financially admitting that is hard & I feel pathetic but I have to face that reality in hopes to save this innocent girl who's never known the proper love she deserves

I know it's hard times for everyone!! Especially here in the Bay Area! The cost of living is sickening & we're all barely getting by which is why I feel even worse asking for help when I know there's so many who would but are unable to themselves

if you can spare even $1 it would go towards rehabilitating this little girl, her medical expenses, home IV station, IVs & needles, including x-rays, multiple bloodwork tests, kidney testing, prescription diet, physical therapy sessions, medication, supplements, groceries for low ingredient treats, equipment needed for my house (low rise dog bowls, doggy steps, dog bed, Pjs (keep her warm & keep her skin protected & less prone to scratching & biting) because she also needs an allergen test , she needs a lot of love & testing to thrive in her new life I plan on providing for her . Also towards safely remodeling my house to accommodate her needs & make her comfortable. All things towards her medical recovery will be priority & then  If I raise enough to resolve this kidney issue & if we are able to resolve it l I will be moving forward with her knee/hip surgery so that she can move around comfortably & if she can't undergo the surgery we're gonna get her some badass wheels!!!

All I know is, day by day this lil girl is gonna build her strength, get showered with love & get the medical attention she needs to live a healthy happy comfortable lifestyle
