Hi, my name is Brandon. I am the son of Vicki, pictured on the right, and the Grandson of Helen, shown on the left. These two women have been the rocks of my family my whole life. They have led lives of putting others first, my Grandmother being a therapist and my mother being a nurse. The kindness and compassion I've learned from them, has made me the man I am today. They have prioritized always being there for their family and loved ones throughout their lives. Putting their community first and doing whatever they can to make positive impacts in the lives around them.

Unfortunately, this year in May, my Grandmother (age 91) broke her femur and had to undergo surgery; 2 months later, my Mother(age 60) was hospitalized for having stroke symptoms. Both have been in recovery at a rehabilitation facility since June of this year. My grandmother is retired, and my mother is disabled and has been unable to work since 2013.

My sister and I have tried our best to step in and take over some of the financial burdens they are experiencing from the hospital bills, surgeries, medications, and rehabilitation treatment. Yet with my sister being a single mother and having been impacted by recent layoffs at her company, a son with mental health challenges, and no health insurance to assist with the bills, it is becoming more than what we can handle.

The proceeds from this GoFundMe will help cover the medical expenses and help us get them into assisted living where they can receive the continued care they need. Thank you for your contributions and support during this challenging time for my family and me.
