Get Christina back home

This gofundme is set up to raise much needed funds to adapt the home of Christina Kearney - is a 33 year old mother of 2 girls aged 11 and 5 from Turloughmore County Galway. Christina is a Type 1 diabetic and presented to her GP on Monday 23rd of October 2023 with a sore on her right foot by Friday 27th of October Christina became extremely sick and had to be rushed to hospital by ambulance. Christina was admitted in to resuss where she was monitored closely and unfortunately the devasting news was delivered that she had sepsis in her foot and the heartbreaking news was broke to her that in order to save her life her foot must be amputated. She went into emergency life changing surgery on Friday 27th of October 2023 at 7.30 p.m. to save her life and was in surgery for 6 hours. Christina had a partial foot amputation. Christina lives in a 2 story house and needs the house she shares with her partner Martin and their daughters adapted so that she can regain her independence and recover at home with her family close by. All funds raised will go to adapting the downstairs of Christina's home and creating a down stairs bathroom and bedroom. Anyone who knows Christina will tell you she is the nicest person you could meet, always there for her family and friends. She will be the first one to help you in a time of need regardless of how big or small it is! Her warm and gentle character, witty sense of humour and infectious smile is known in many many places so we ask you please donate what ever you can afford big or small it will all help.
