I am not posting this because I need or want anything for my birthday, but because I have realized that in the present political climate there are people who are becoming unwelcome to a dangerous degree. Unfortunately, that non-welcome often begins in churches. So, I have decided that every year on my birthday I will make a donation, in honor of my baptism, to places that welcome the unwanted, until there is a day when all are accepted. I will not make it a gofundme again after this year, but I thought some of you might like to help kick this commitment off. You may do it anonymously if you wish. And thank you.
