A few weeks ago, my mom had a heart attack. Her heart actually completely stopped at one point. The doctors say it’s a miracle she survived. I never would have expected my mom to go through something so traumatic being only 53 (now 54... her birthday was December 30th).

When I got the phone call early in the morning I kinda felt the world stop spinning for a second. This situation has put a lot of things into perspective for me. I can’t even describe how grateful I am that my mom made it through. She’s never been a quitter though, that’s for sure. My mom isn’t perfect but she is an absolute ray of sunshine and everyone who has came into contact with her can attest to that. I know there are a lot of people out there that love and appreciate her. Her personality and compassion is infectious in the best way.

I created this go fund me page in hopes that I can take a little bit of financial burden off her shoulders - she deserves it.  The medical bills as well as her lack of income until she can go back to work definitely is taking a toll. If you know my mom or something about this resonates with you, it would mean a lot to me if you considered donating! Every cent counts! This woman was worried about Christmas for my brother and I two days after she had this heart attack... because that’s the type of person she is. SHE is the best Christmas present I could ever ask for. Thankfully, it wasn’t her time.
