Hi! I am Mary Watkins. I am a full time student and a single mother of one amazingly sweet boy.  I have been called to be Jesus' hands and feet and to serve the poor and vulnerable this summer in Cambodia. This coming June, I plan on going to  Cambodia with Steps of Justice ( http://www.stepsofjustice.org/)  a non-profit Christian organization that brings awareness of injustice issues that leads to action. During this trip, we will be building a home with and for a family in poverty, running kids ministry, teaching on Sanitation and facilitating a lice removal clinic for local kids in a poor community. 

 Our prayer for this trip is that God would open our eyes to the injustice of the world.   I hope that through this trip I come home with stories of Gods faithfulness  that inspire others to serve and get involved in local and international issues of injustice. I hope to inspire others to go on their own mission trip, sponsoring someone else mission trip and help guide the way we spend our money, to not spend it on things that were produced by slave labor. These are all things we will be learning and involved with in Cambodia with Steps of Justice. 

In order for us to pursue this opportunity, I am inviting you to join with us in praying for the people of Cambodia. I am also asking if you would pray about financially supporting us and the call that God has placed on our hearts for the Cambodian people. I plan to leave the last week of June and return at the beginning of July, I will need approximately $1900 to cover the cost of travel, visa, food, translator, housing and other expenses including ministry opportunities.
