Kelly's Accident Fundraiser
Donation protected
Kelly was in a horrible snow tubing accident and sustained an incredible amount of serious injuries. She hit a steel pole going full speed (around 50 mph) and was knocked unconscious. Upon arriving at the hospital it was discovered that Kelly suffered a severe head concussion, post-concussive syndrome, a deep laceration on the side of her face as well as on her right elbow, both of which required stitches, and the worst and most painful injury of all is that she completely tore and separated her interior, exterior, and transverse abdominal muscles away from her Iliac crest (hip bone).
Since then she has been to the ER multiple times, has had hip and elbow x-rays, a chest cat scan, an abdominal cat scan, two brain cat scans, a hip MRI, a brain MRI, a brain EEG, and a host of other tests and procedures. She continues to have appointments all sorts of specialists including a surgeon for a consult on reattaching her abdominal muscles to her hip, a neurologist to treat and help manage migraines, blurred vision, constant ringing in her ears, light/sound sensitivity, and the rest of her symptoms from post-concussive syndrome, as well as a plastic surgeon to repair the scar on her face. Kelly has a long road of recovery ahead of her.
Please join me in donating to help Kelly with the overwhelming amount of medical bills she has acquired since the accident, and will continue to acquire on her challenging journey to heal.
Any amount will help tremendously and will be greatly appreciated.
