We are the Wingate School of Sports Sciences Leadership Academy.  Our hope is to raise money to pay  for a service trip to Gary West Virginia in McDowell County. McDowell county is one of the poorest counties in America. It used to be a major coal mining town and had a population of about 100,000 people. Now the population is only 21,300. Our goal is to make a difference in the lives of those that are less fortunate than us and we are hoping our trip to Gary will be a way to make change for those that desperately need it.
