"6 weeks ago it was just a lump, probably nothing. 4 weeks ago it was an ultrasound and mammogram just to be sure. 2 weeks ago it was a biopsy because maybe, we really want to be sure. 1 week ago it was invasive ductal carcinoma. Today we are making appointments and plans and buying funny t-shirts. Sometimes life is crazy and cancer is a hoe."

Hayley Wristen, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and teacher, was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. With her newly one year old child, and a now less certain future, we hope to create a cushion of support as she navigates this journey of fertility preservation, cancer treatments, possible surgeries, all while continuing to be an amazing friend, family member, and educator.
