Send the WashU Hip Hop Union to Competition!

Hello!

We are WUHHU, Washington University in St. Louis' premier hip hop performance group. We're a group of 27 students who strive to imbue WashU's campus with an appreciation for dance culture! We serve our campus community year-round with free workshops, external performances, and our annual fall dance showcase.

The hallmark of our spring semester is attendance to a national dance competition. Since 2016, we have competed with Prelude dance competitions both in Chicago and Boston! Prelude is a notably amazing organization for both its charitable contributions of proceeds and honoring of Black history in shaping dance culture. In 2019, we won 3rd place in the adult division, and are eager to come back and claim another title!

We need YOUR help in bringing our team to competition on April 24th. Any donations will be used to cover flight costs, meals, and hotel fees not covered by our school funding. Any contributions are extremely helpful and valued for our long weekend of dancing and traveling!
